Liturgy of the Word

Welcome

The Apostle Paul reminds us that "there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Gal. 3:28).  Our mission, 'to seek and serve Christ in all persons', embodies Christ's radical embrace of all persons. Whether you are exploring faith, a Christian from another tradition, or a 'cradle Episcopalian', we believe you will find something worthwhile at St. Mark's.

Announcements

  • Our Fish Frys are coming soon! We work hard, but have so much fun. It's a great way to get involved--we have a job for everyone. If you are interested in helping, please come to our planning meeting this Thursday, February 2 at 5:30 pm. We would love everyone to participate on this important fundraiser.
  • The Annual Meeting will be held next Sunday, February 5th in Langley Hall. A luncheon will be served. Please plan to attend this very important meeting as we prayerfully look to our future.
  • Cake Bakers are needed for Fish Frys. This year the Fish Fry will have dine-in and carry-out. We sell 150 desserts each week! Our best dessert sellers are iced cakes and fruit pies. We have recipes available, so please contact Annie Ronald  for additional information.
  • The Hospitality Committee is looking for new members and coordinators to join their ministry. Please contact Annie Ronald by phone or email for additional information.

Outreach needs

  • Hats and gloves of all sizes are now being collected in the Information Center. The donations will be sent to St. John's Center, Field Elementary School, and UP.

  • St. John's Men Center asks for new socks and underwear. Donations can be place in the basket in the Information Center.
